Data deletion
To delete a job's videos, open Reel Studio. In the job's menu, choose Delete. Review the notice and confirm with Delete from Studio. This requests deletion of the original, the edit and the processing files stored by Reel Studio.
To disconnect Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or TikTok, open Connections. Choose the platform, then choose Disconnect. This stops new publications and the receipt of new events from that connection.
These actions do not delete posts already on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or TikTok. To delete them, use the corresponding platform. Disconnecting YouTube deletes the data received from YouTube and the tokens from Reel Studio after revoking access; if revocation fails, we retry the request and delete the data within seven days. It does not delete your account, the videos you uploaded, their transcripts or the metadata you chose.
Disconnecting Facebook or TikTok deletes the tokens stored for that connection in your organization. It does not automatically delete publication history. You can also remove Reel Studio's permission in your Facebook or TikTok account settings. To delete the remaining data in Reel Studio, send the request described below.
To delete Facebook or TikTok data, disconnect the account in Connections and email facundogoiriz@gmail.com from your account email. Identify your account or organization, without passwords or tokens. We verify ownership and confirm when deletion is complete. Disconnecting removes stored connection tokens, but does not automatically erase publication history or posts on Facebook or TikTok. Remove Reel Studio access in the platform settings to revoke its permission there.
Deleting the files or the history does not delete the durable archive of the full transcript, the word timings, the video metadata and the file references. That record does not expire automatically; you can include it in your deletion request by email.
Disconnecting a platform does not immediately delete the history of comments and messages that Reel Studio already received. Full deletion of the account and of that history is not available in the app.
To request full deletion of your account and of the data received from Google, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, email facundogoiriz@gmail.com from your account email. Identify the corresponding account or workspace; do not send passwords or tokens. We will verify ownership and let you know when the request is complete. YouTube data deletion requests are handled within seven days.
You can also revoke access to Google and YouTube in your Google account permissions.
